Serious bugs?

Since upgrading to 10:10t version I have had the following problems.
Using access to settings via “Setup”>“Control Panel” the following cause the dreaded blue screen of dearh with “Fatal exception” errors.

[1] "ftp/internet/metar/etc.etc. " Icon brings up the correct screen but when exiting this screen, bang the BSD,

[2] " Custom internet/ file creation etc etc." Any attempt to access this Icon gives the same results as [1] above.

I would appreciate any help before I give up and reinstall a very early version which was at least stable.

A suggestion for Brian: How about leaving the previous (say 10-15) versions on your download page

Sometimes the uploading of a new version gets corrupted because it is done with dialup modem.

You may have gotten a bad copy.

I just downloaded the 10.10V a hour ago and it is running fine.
Try the V or go back to your last stable version for a while.
I save ALL my downloads. I have sometimes gone backwards.

If you rename and save each new version of WD downloaded with a name that will identify the version downloaded you will be able to revert to a previous version of WD. No need to keep a lot of old versions of WD. Just keep a few that worked well for you.

I use this scheme to name the WD programs downloaded.
“wdisplay10.10v_05040617-32.exe”.
I just insert the version # after wdisplay, add a _ and the date and time of the file, insert a

Many thanks to both respondents, I have downloaded and installed ver 10.10V and so far it seems more stable and has not yet crashed.
