Reloading old data in Weather Display

Hey guys,
I’ve been wanting a weather station for years, and finally my brother & his wife picked up the hints, and gave a WMR100 as a Christmas gift. The box said it includes the weather display software (a $50 value it says!), which turn out is the basic free version (then a $50 value for a USB cable? If they’re advertising the $50 value, hopefully Oregon Scientific is paying Brian some royalties, but I digress)… Everything is setup, sensors are communicating, the unit downloads to the computer, and I’m running the 10.37h full trial currently to update to the internet at Farmington Highlands. The problem I get into is when I reboot the computer and open Weather Display again, the graph lost all the previous data, and starts over. I’ve got log files turned on, and “Convert Log Files to Graph” doesn’t seem to do anything (I’ve tried converting the various log files and "Recreate the last 31 days graph data). I assume it’s supposed to re-load the data from somewhere, but I can’t seem to figure out how. Any help would be great! Have a wonderful 2008.

What OS? If Vista what’s the WD install directory?

Vista and the default install directory of C:/Program Files/wdisplay. Thanks.

Andris

Programs loaded in Program Files in Vista have some special limitations, weather display will not work there. You should uninstall and reinstall in c:\wdisplay and give it another try.
