Recommended script to receive Ecowitt GW1100 custom upload?

I have a GW1100 and would like to send data to my web site as well, using the custom upload option. GW1100 supports WU and Ecowitt protocols. I found some sites and threads from several years ago (example1, example2, example3) discussing various scripts, but don’t know what is recommended now.

I am glad that PWS Dashboard will have a version that will receive this data from Nov 15th, but I am also interested in a solution that I can use elsewhere on my web site.

The current version of pwsdashboard fully supports the Ecowitt custom upload protocol. The receiving script is included.

Your links example2 and example3 give sample information to use the receiving index.php script in your own environment.
