I just recently updated from Build-16 to Build-23. After the update I could not upload to CWOP. I reinstalled Build-16 and the CWOP upload works fine. I did some searching in the WD folder. In Build-16 there are 3 “cron” files: “croncwop.exe”, “cronledsign.exe”, and “cronwdwu.exe”. In Build-23 there is only 1 “cron” file, "cronledsign.exe. The “croncwop.exe” and “cronwdwu.exe” are missing from Build-23.

Brian, can this be checked for the next Build? Thanks much in advance …

how are you updating WD?
all those cron programs are included with the full install update

Hi Brian,

I’m updating from the full install updates. One curious note: the file “cronwdwu.exe” appears to be a virus which has come into my system 4 times this year which AVG has grabbed and quarantined.

that will be the problem most likely, your antivirus program
its deleting or blocking those needed cron programs

I’ve had 40 successful, consecutive uploads to CWOP using Build-16 since I deleted Build-23 and reinstalled Build-16. Per your suggestion I added “croncwop.exe” and “cronledsign.exe” to AVG’s allowed list.

Which “settings files” to zip and email? Also, is the file “cronwdwu.exe” a Weather Display file?
