Re-Importing data from a TFA Nexus weather station

I’m using a TFA Nexus weather station together with Weather Display software and have recently experienced an issue with erroneous rain recordings.

I believe I have fixed the problem however I now have a situation whereby the log files contain incorrect data and the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly rain totals contain invalid totals. Additionally the maximum hourly/daily rain rates are wrong.

Although I can use WD to adjust the rain figures, I think it would be easier to simply make WD re-import all of the last months data from the weather station.

Is there a way to do this? I have tried using the data logger to force a load starting from 1 month ago, however it only seems to extract data from the last day, am I missing something ?

Hi
I dont think the data logger would hold a whole month of data?

When I use the TFA-Nexus software that came with the weather station, I can view both the current data and historical data going back 6 months in the weather station itself. The TFA-Nexus software extracts all of the data and stores it in a file called NexusOrg.dbf on my PC, the data can then be viewed in graphical or tabular format.

I was hoping that WD would also be able to extract a large chunk of historical data from the weather station and use this in place of the erroneous data. Alternatly I was wondering if WD could use the .dbf file that the TFA-Nexus software extracted?

but that is 2 different things though…data stored on the station (short term data)…and data stored in the software’s data base
the actual station only has 3300 data sets
so the amount of back in time history will depend on the recording interval set

you can set in WD the date/time to check back to get the data
under control panel, data logger setup
e,g set that back a few days
as a test
then restart WD

(first though delete the data in the logfile for that time period (back up first)…so that after completed import…then convert the logfile to data in WD via action
