Weather Display is showing much more rain than the Vantage Vue, for example Feb to date the Vue shows 39mm but Weather Display has 195.6mm
I guess we’ve got something setup wrong.

I’m having something go crazy with rainfall, but I’m on Tempest station where I had 1.2mm of rain but it’s been repeatedly recording that amount into WD and WD thinks there was 168mm+ of rain today alone.
Not sure if our issues are related though…mine started after updating to a newer version of WD today, though…
v 10.37s build 152 here
The WD Version History shows 10 different downloads for build 152 updates up to 10 February, and I know of two in the last 3 days, so “build 152” doesn’t really mean much these days.
I know Brian has been working on Ecowitt rain, maybe you will have to contact him direct about Vue and Tempest rain.
So how do we know if we’ve got the latest release?
Go Help > Visit the WD download page to check for a new version
Brian doesn’t keep the Version History up to date any more. . .
latest version 152 is dated 18th February 2025
OK, so we know we’re not running that release, but can we find out which we are running?
File explorer look in WD folder and look at the date against the weather display exe
But the date of the .exe file will be the date you downloaded it, not the date of the release. I downloaded the 18 Feb release on 18 Feb, which is the date in Explorer. I downloaded it to a different folder just now and the file date is 21 Feb.
I run a script every night checking for a new WD release and download it that day and archive here: Clayton, NC Weather - WD Archive. The dates of those releases are accurate but it doesn’t help anyone else figure out which version they downloaded.
Too bad Brian doesn’t include a date in the filename nor keep the version history current. I suppose when someone downloads the file, they could add the date to the filename upon saving it.
What’s the date on the internal executive WeatherDisplay.exe, not the downloaded install executive wdisplay32.exe, as @hcorrin suggests?
