Rain Totals updated but not changing

I had a bad run with rain totals.

  1. I manually changed them all to correct values
  2. I set the monthly total
  3. I set the yearly total
Still the files send to WXSIM are thinking we had 1700mm of rain last month, any idea on how that can be fixed.

Second question.
I went to download some updates for weather display, but the download page does not show any update downloads anymore… any idea why? It shows the full application download.

THanks in advance.

I am running WD Ver 10.375S151 so all should work then right… but it is not.

According to WD Facebook page Brian has stopped using the update .zip option and you have to download the “full” version update…
Stop confusion, and make it easier for NEW users …

Yes I posted about this a while ago now. After speaking to Brian he now ONLY posts a new exe file. This when used will update an existing program.

I always use the full exe update…just makes more sense to me. And always keep a backup

Not for me, but I can see where you coming from, I just want the changes. That said if Brian has decided to use a full exe… well so be it.

I have a look at some other stuff like weeWX bit more control on things I think… time will tell.

What is confusing is have different “sources of truth”, not really a fakebook fan so not following it.
I remember back in the day there was a “notice” that brian would not post on the forum anymore… forgot about that untill you mentioned the fakebook reference… thank.

That’s not strictly correct. Brian isn’t currently posting on the forum. To my knowledge he has never made a statement about that. He just stopped posting one day without saying anything to me (or as far as I know anyone else) about his decision to do so. After a period where he didn’t post I did post a notice to say that he no longer seemed to be posting to the forum.

I guess I’m saying “would not post” is an active stance. The actual stance is passive, i.e. “is not currently posting”. A subtle difference.
