I can’t say I’m exactly a math wiz. I used to frustrate the hell out of my engineer father trying to help me with math in high school. That said, doesn’t .024 + .031 = .055? Or is this some new kind of math? Just saying . . .
do you happen to be using option to use the console rain total?
also is WD running all the time?
I just recently changed from the console to WLL. I guess that must have changed my rain gauge settings because nothing was checked. I’ve rechecked, “Davis rain gauge is a 0.01” and “Use the Davis VP rain rate”. I believe that is what I had, had before. When all was said and done yesterdays rain was .075, the day before was .031 which should be .106 for the month. WD is still evaporating .004, it’s showing .102 for the month. Rain is so hard to come by around here I want to measure every .001 I can
So now that I have the rain gauge setting reset, isn’t the .106 the correct amount? Should I go in and correct the monthly amount?
Oh, yes WD is running 24/7.
Looking more closely as to what may have changed when I went to WLL. Under Davis VP/Vue Settings nothing changed. The “Rev B data logger (default)”, is checked. Since I’m not using the data logger anymore should that be unchecked?
