I have reported this elsewhere in this forum but as I believe it may be a FreshWDL issue I am adding it here.
Recently I looked at all the places rain is reported and the following is what I found.
In WD itself
Logfiles 13.7mm at 9AM 27/11
Last 7 Days Rain Wed 27 13.7
Detailed Rain 27th 13.7
All the above are correct.
However in FreshWDL I see the following.
Rainfall last 31 days (Main Screen) 26th 13.7 (this is the wrong day, it should be the 27th)
In Graphs:-
Rainfall last 7 Days Wed 13.7 (This is correct)
Rainfall Last 31 Days Nov. 26th 13.7 (This is the wrong day again)
So somehow the data getting to FreshWDL is wrong or there is a problem with FreshWDL.
Note that I am in Australia with the 9AM reset etc.
Brian has recently fixed the rain reporting in WD itself for Australian users and I have waited to see if the reporting in FreshWDL would sort itself out but it has not.
My freshWDL page is at FreshWDL
Generally I think FreshWDL is fantastic but it would be good to see the rain on the right day.

I will admit I am a bit miffed by this issue. It seems strange that it works on one site (mine), but not on another (yours!).
Makes it difficult to figure out what is going wrong, too.
Do you happen to have the old WDL set up somewhere, sometimes that can help to compare with when these issues arise.
It’s always difficult to get the month-rain to work, as the data isn’t uploaded with dates, but rather as “day 1”, “day 2”, etc, where the “day 1” corresponds to one month ago…
To get this to work across all time zones has never been simple on my end, so it might well be that playing up again.
Hi Yerren,
Thanks for getting back and for all your work on FreshWDL.
I suspect the difference between your website and mine is that I am in Australia where 9AM reset is used and the rain recorded in the 24 HRS before the reset is recorded on the day of reading.
For example:- A new rain day starts at 9AM on a Tuesday and ends at 9AM on Wednesday. Rain in that period is recorded on Wednesday’s date. That is the way the Australian Bureau of Meteorology does it.
Brian has it working properly in WD so it would be great if it could be fixed in FreshWDL. I have a farmer neighbour who uses my site particularly for Last 31 Days Rain so it would be good if it corresponded with what he actually sees happen.
I have found a wdlconfig.xml file from 2018 and attached it renamed as .txt I hope that is what you need.
Thanks again Yerren,
Ian
Well I don’t understand why but this morning I checked again and the rainfall is now shown on the correct days in FreshWDL!!!
Whether this is permanent I don’t know.
I will keep checking.
Ian
It is always correct when I get up in the morning. This morning I watched the FreshWDL screen as 9 AM went past expecting to see it change. The change actually occurred at 0910 AM when I saw the Last 31 days graph change from correct to 1 day out.
So I now know when it changes from right to wrong …0910 AM
I suspect that the change from wrong to right might happen at 2400 hrs (midnight) when the rest of the world resets. (Remember I am in Australia with 9AM reset)
Hope this is helping.
Ian
I wonder if it’s somehow hard-coded to be in NZ time… I will check in a couple weeks when I have a little more free time.
Thanks for your in-depth research, really helps me out!
Thanks Yerren,
I had hoped to confirm the “wrong to right” time by now but we have just been through two months of fire emergency and had no time for anything else.
I will keep watching.
Ian
Yerren, thanks so much for the awesome work you have done here. Much appreciated.
I think I have the same issue with the rainfall last 31 days. We have had rain here yesterday and day before. My FreshWDL says last rain was in May. correct rain figures, wrong dates.
