If the following is in another thread I will remove the Post.
It seems that with 10.37f Build 5 that monthly and yearly inches of rain was the metric (mm) number. And the (mm) was then the product of 25.4mm/inch in the AVG/EXT.
Example Averages\Extremes for day :02
Rainfall for month 0.00 in. ( 0 mm) Rainfall for year 29.37 in. (734 mm)
Averages\Extremes for day :03
Rainfall for year 746.00 in. (18650 mm)
Above there was no rain on the 3rd and certainly not 717 inches in one day.
OTHER
%wdbuild% loads to a WEB page as Build 9 when running Build 12 - confirm I have 12 under Help/About on main screen.
This has continued and I just manually corrected the values. This error has continued with 10.37f B06 and B09. I have just loaded B12 but I do not see any info that this has been corrected.
I have looked at one other WEB site and see the same problem is there and also started on Aug. 3 and has continued.
%wdbuild% will bring across the correct build number
are you sure that web page has actual updated
as for the rain for the year, .zip and email me your wdisplay.ini settings file and the month82007.inf data file and 82007lg.txt file
i do not have any other reports of these 2 problems at this stage

The index.shtml page is not being created with 10.37f-12.
I back installed 10.37f 06 and the index.shtml is created from my source file default(hurricane).html and uploads with %wdbuild% transformed to 06.
Next I overwrote (installed 10.37f 09) and again the default(hurricane).html is made into index.shtml and uploads %wdbuild% transformed to 09.
Next I overwrote (installed 10.37f 12) index.shtml is not created. The FTP uploads and again but the default(hurricane).html IS NOT made into index.shtml. So the FTP is uploading the older index.shtml.
I am trying to be careful to not be causing this, but I am not making any configuration changes between Build 06, 09 or 12. I have put 09 back in for now.
Stuff is a bit tense here. Hurricane Dean is a threat here as early as Wednesday. My home is 20’ from a bay of the Gulf of Mexico. The town is preparing for some evacuation as early as Sunday. The wife and I are beginning to organize to move our favorite items and records into a trailer to evacuate by Monday evening if the predictions don’t change.
I will try to find a minute now and then to check what you reply.
i have checked, and I cant see in the code where it would be mixing up the inches and mm
if you could .zip and email me the files as listed above i will test here
(and you wdisplayftp.reg settings file (after goingl action, back up registry now, so i can test/check on the remote file name problem)
good luck with the atlantic hurriane incoming, it looks like a biggy
ok, i have found and fixed that rain bug
(i needed to search further down in the code for the daily update section)
happened after a fundamental change (where it uses the daily rain total shown on the main screen)
use this new .zip update, build 13 http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip
(the problem came about when I was working on the end of month problems)
Windy,
I am coming and going from the PC too quickly. I did send a newly made wdisplayftp.reg as a zip and a few minutes earlier 3 files zipped.
wdisplay.ini
month82007.ini
82007lg.txt
Don’t know if it is a mirror WEB site, but the http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip continues to have a Aug. 17 11 AM date. I have shut down WD and installed it three times and it always continues as Build 12, not 13. I won’t know until morning about the inch/mm issue.
As wx.html is updating OK and my index.shtml is not being made I will try a different name next break. like default.html
and re the web remote problem
i made a change, to make WD smarter, that if someone turned on the custom web page switch but did not mean to, in the webfiles web page setup (a commen mistake) then wd will only upload the wx.html file if it finds a wxlocal.html file
but if you have set to upload the normal stationfilename (or using the special file conversion )but as a different remote file name in the custom web page setup then that might be where the problem is
so try creating a wxlocal.html file in the webfiles folder
checking/testing that is the case now
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherD.zip
that update will fix the problem of where you are using the secial file conversion setup in the webfiles/web page setup but do not have a wxlocal.html file in your web files folder
(which has been overtaken by using the wxlocal.html → wx.html (or what ever remote file name you have set) in the customise internet and file creation setup
