I am writing this topic because I have seen that there is a barometer brand name Genia. On the Internet I found on different places that Genia is Danish, Swedish or German but not exactly which one of the three nationalities is. Does anyone know something about this brand ?
There is also a German brand name HUGER. It is not much information on the Internet about it as far as I searched. The only thing I found is that the company was in Baden-Wurttemberg and existed until 1982.
I bought a new (unused) HUGER barometer on a local shopping platform in my country Romania recently and on the dial there is written “Präcisions Barometer” and West Germany. I think the barometer is from the 70’s or early 80’s. Did HUGER make precision barometer ? Could be more vacumm chambers inside it ? Could be a precision barometer with just one vacuum chamber or a special built ? Thanks !
