I am trying to follow the instructions for setting up PWS but when I try and logon
with mysite/pwsWD I get to the Wordpress login.
Is there a way for the two to coexist.

Not sure I understand. What’s the URL of your site?
My main web address is “www.sloan-home.co.uk” my domain and this redirects to
“www.sloan-home.co.uk.ocelot.mythic-beasts.com” my webhost with WordPress and I was hoping PWS.
I had to register this second address with with PWS.
If I try the former and add /pwsWD it goes to the Wordpress login if I try the later and add the /pwsWD it goes to WordPress and says Oops page not found.
Both links end up as sloan-home.uk but your first link says .co.uk so it looks like there are three URLs involved?
The problem might be due to how you’re redirecting. How are you doing that?
Hy Keith,
No problem with WordPress (WP) and PWS_Dashboard.
There are dozens of users who use it that way.
Sometimes there is a problem with the WP-security settings which restrict running “other” php scripts. But those error-messages seem not present in your case.
I am not sure what you mean with register
When downloading one can specify the URL so that if there is a problem, support can take a look.
Maybe those redirects do not end in the folder which contains your pwsWD/ folder?
Steps you had to follow:
You downloaded and unzipped the download as a pwsWD/ folder?
You FTP/uploaded this pwsWD/ folder (not the contents !) to the WP folder ?
=> https://www.sloan-home.uk/
Can you, using your FTP program see and access the pwsWD/ in the main WordPress folder?
Only someone with full FTP access, that is you, can investigate this.

My Main domain www_sloan-home_co_uk was setup many years ago with IONOS and redirects to
http://www.sloan-home_co_uk_ocelot_mythic-beasts.com
mythic- beast want one of their own domains so
If I try Index of /pwsWD, I again get page not found.
/home/keithsloan contains the two directories pwsWD and www, the later being the Wordpress site.
If your webroot for /home/keithsloan is www then the pwsWD directory should be under www.
How are you doing the redirect? Perhaps that’s doing something odd to the URL?
Also just another thought…is there a directory /home/keithsloan/www/html ? If so, try moving pwsWD into that directory.
Please go to your FTP program to find the folder wp-contents/
That is one of the most important folders of WordPress.
Move the pwsWD/ folder to the same folder which contains wp-contents/
But not inside wp-contents/ itself.
That “root” folder can be wwroot or public_html or html or whatever.
Succes,
Wim
Thanks that seems to have fixed things.
