I am running a remote weather site in Bridgton, Maine using a Texas Weather WPS-10 Processor Unit which is connected as a WRL-25 system via the com port. Prior to using Weather-Display, I was using WeatherView 32 for more than a year.
Weather Display works just fine, but has one startup problem. Upon starting WD, my data quality stays red, and the data received remains at zero. In order to make things work, I have to click the button for the WRL-25 at 2400 baud, and then click the 19200 baud rate. Everything syncs up data quality immediately turns green, and data received increments. Communications will continue until the system does its’ reset which I do once a day. (The station is 350 miles from my home and need a way to recover it without the long drive) .
Could you give me a WPS setting that goes through a com port reset like the switching between baud rates when the program starts? BTW, it doesn’t matter if this is a full machine reset or just a stop and restart of WD.
Thanks, Kent
