Problem lauching WXIMATE after OS upgrading

After upgrading my PC (I passed from win2000 to XP pro) I have re-installed WXSIM and WXSIMATE. WXSIM works fine, but WXSIMATE not. When I try to launch it, it doesn

Does XP Pro have the .Net framework installed? I believe WXSimate needs this.

It should. How to verify ?

All Users: Check to See If You Have the .NET Framework Installed

You can check to see if you already have the .NET Framework 1.1 installed by clicking Start on your Windows desktop, selecting Control Panel, and then double-clicking the Add or Remove Programs icon. When that window appears, scroll through the list of applications. If you see Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 listed, the latest version is already installed and you do not need to install it again.

That worked for my XP Machine and either I don’t have it on the Vista machine or that method doesn’t work for Vista?

The Net Framework installer (from Microsoft), dotnetfx.exe, is also on the Downloads page of www.wxsim.com. Be sure to try that. It’s version 1.1, though I think later versions (like 2.0) should work with WXSIMATE as well.
