I have noticed recently that the forecast text is missing, the icons will be there and weather voice gives the forecast as - - Some times it works some times not, especially in the afternoon it seems. Anyone else having problems? Been wondering if this is a NWS issue since they killed the weather map.
I have not noticed any problems. i typically look at the NWS forecast (on my website) once or twice a day.
Having same issue here…tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/forecasts/zone/oh/ohz055.txt. Downloading every 15 mins and at least one time an hour it fails. This started about 3 weeks ago.

There was a fire recently at a building housing one of the NWS data centres. That definitely affects buoy data downloads but I’m not sure if it can also affect forecast downloads. Perhaps that’s why the downloads are failing?
Possibly. My forecast comes from Grand Junction Colorado, so not affected, for sure, by the Silver Spring incident.
NOAA/NWS seems to have solved the issue.
