Noob user checking settings

I recently purchased this software to make a webpage of my Ambient WS2000. So in reading through the forums discovered I needed a GW1100 in order to get the extra sensors I added to show up. Like Air Quality and Lightning.

I am still missing a few minor things in setup to get everything to seem like it is working properly.

Once I get everything functioning as it should then I will worry about modifying the appearance using the datahtm0 and datahtm2 files in likelihood.

So I am asking for any experts to review my bone stock non Carter site and see if you notice anything that is not working properly. I notice some things, like daily sun hours for example.

Anyway appreciate any input and thanks in advance.

also just to make sure I understand properly I think that the WS2000 feeds to the GW1100 which in turn is feeding WD. Is that correct ?

OK so if you have a GW1100 it should be capable of capturing all the data from all your sensors, you can check this by using the Ecowitt WSView+ app on Android. If that is the case all you needs to do is tell Weather Display (WD) you have an Ecowitt device on the Station Type & Settings control panel as per

This will cause a program called crongw1000.exe to start and gather data.

Sadly there is a bug currently in WD which causes solar data for sunshine hours to be wildly inaccurate. You need to email the author about that as he does not frequent this forum now.

thanks for response.

the tickbox that says “Use for History Data Only b( i.e. GW1000 bridge in use )” … do I want that checked or leave it unchecked ?

EDIT: I see on your graphic you have it checked and the API disabled ?

Welcome to the forum!

In the banner at the top of the page there’s a link that takes you to a page that just says “? invalid arg x”. The link is…

…which looks like it needs changes.

There’s also a red-ish block just below the first graphic that contains a ‘-’. It’s a JPG that looks like it needs adjustment -

Looks to be cut off to the right. Not sure why but maybe that’s the way WD creates it?

Otherwise it looks like a good start to your website :slightly_smiling_face:

If you upload your data to Ecowitt then you check that bottom check mark to allow WD to download missing data from the Ecowitt cloud if you have an outage. The upper check mark tells WD to use the Ecowitt cloud for live data which is not needed when using the local api for live data.
