I just downloaded version 10.12v and since then my webfiles aren’t uploaded anymore. I use the custom file creation and uploading, I checked al switches and everything looks normal…
It has te be something with the weather station data logger. Each time the data is logged (on start up of WD), the logfiles aren’t updated anymore after this is done. The latest log is the data which was transferred from the weatherstation’s memory.
Also the “Files new” in the registry contains only largedisplay.gif, the other files aren’t in there so there are no others uploaded. I re-installed 10.12r again and it works again.
I have a different problem that may be related.
Most of my time critical files are set to upload every 5 minutes, including Station.gif, Station.htm, Stationdial.gif, localweather.gif, summary.gif, weatherbanner.gif, wx.hml, and wx2.html
Others are set to go every 15 minutes. dailyhighlowbaroetc.gif, energy.gif, forecasticon.gif, forecasticonstation.gif, and metar.gif
But since I converted to 10.12v, wx.html and wx2.html only upload every 15 minutes. Even though I have confirmed that they are scheduled to go every 5. Is there possibly something that controls this interval other than what is set on the custom Internet File settings screen?
Minor update. The problem is still there with version 10.12w beta.
I thought it was only me. I had been running 12u and was only getting web updates every hour, when I should have gotten them every 15 minutes. Also noticed that the PC time had fallen 40 minutes behind in a 12 hour period. I reverted to 10s, as that version had no time loss on the PC clock.
specs: Pentium, 233, 32M Mem, 1 -2G HD :roll:
Running Win98, WD, Webcam, Conq Cam, WInSched, one homegrown grapher scheduled 0110 each day, 5 min runtime.
I have the same problem here. My files suddenly stopped uploading and checking my program error log it was saying that the date 06/00/2004 is an invalid date. Don’t know if it’s related. Can’t get my clientraw.txt to upload or any of my other files.
i have fixed something that occurs if you abort the data extraction at start up or the data extraction at start up does not work correct…

My files still won’t upload, only the largedisplay.gif. It has something to do with the files written in the registry under “Files new”. This is my ftp log:

Yes, the files are updated in my personal webfolder every 5 min. as I set in the “customize internet file creation and upload”. The programerrorlog.txt file is empty.
Indeed Richard, version 10.12x doesn’t resolve my problems too…
Version 10.12 x didn’t correct my problem my wxlocal,wxlocal2,clientraw.txt aren’t uploading at all. They will only upload if you do it manually. Does anyone have version 10.12s or 10.12t that they can send me or can we get 10.12s or t put on the web site till this is resolved. My e-mail is [email protected]

For some reason, I am at least getting my wx and wx2 to upload every 15 minutes. And the local copy is updating every 5 munutes, as it should. It’s just the FTP is quitting too soon. The log says “no more files to upload”. I have tried setting the upload to occur both the same as the creation and also tried setting it to every 5 minutes. Error log is clear.
We seem to have a pattern here. Shouldn’t take Brian too long to figure out what happened after version 10.12t.

wdisplay.ini from c:\windows or c:\winnt
and
wdisplayftp.reg, after going action, back up registry entry now , from the folder data backup
becuase i am not currenlty doing internet updates (will start again from tuesday hopefully when i get my fast wireless), i had noticed a problme my self…i.e it might be to do with the jpg option
