It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here. I live in Vancouver Washington that is just north of Portland Oregon. We’re setting all new time high temperatures for this area. crazy for your latitude …is the wind coming from off the mountains I presume, i.e downwind heating/drying?
Actually it is being pulled from the east from the Columbia river Gorge at least for my area. Meteorologist, are calling it a super heat dome. Most of Idaho, all of Washington, Oregon, and Parts of California are in this heat dome and setting all new temp records. It’s 110°F right now at 3:30 pm.
