New Fire Fox 4

Hi,

Has anyone tried this new version of Fire Fox? If so, how is it working for our weather scripts?

I’ve been using FireFox 4 since it was released and all the scripts look good although I haven’t tried that many sites.

Cheers

They are all working here.

I have tried it and it is fine. I do not like IE9 though… the tabs are hard to see with no options of coloring them and with some sites, I can’t get them to load certain pages, so rather than fart around I go with anything other, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari… it is a crap shoot. I have tweaked permissions

No problems here, Stan.

No problems here either. I like it!

Hi,

Thanks all for the feed back. Will give a try and see what happens here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. At least I am still on land.

I’m using it right now to read the forum and everything seems to be working OK. I’ve
not noticed any problems with any web sites I’ve tried.

I have been using FF4 for about a week now and I am starting to find a few issues that I did not have before. On my work computer, I can’t get “adblock plus” to be compatible.

Also, on the webcam page, FF4 is storing the tensecondvideo.swf in the cache and not reloading each time. Any ideas on a fix?

Hi All,

Did the upgrade and it looks good so far for me also. It seems to run a lot faster for some reason then the 3.xx versions. Maybe it cleaned up a lot of history and other cached areas in the browser.

Thanks for all the inputs.

Drobbins,

I am a new user to this browser and I do not use adblock, so cannot comment on this. Does your tensecondvideo.swf use another addon like Flash Player, to make it work? Perhaps that addon may be an issue??? Just a thought…

No It doesn’t need an add-on.
