So, should I try to convert the data file to log file and then try and correct the rain data? Have I destroyed my data file by converting my logfile to data file?
as I have stated above, only ever convert data file to logfile if you dont have a logfile
your logfile is the bible
there is a backup of the logfile created though when you convert the data file to logfile
but if you have repeated that then that backup will be overwittten
have you tried to set the rain totals as per the FAQ yet?
not yet…I will when I get home in about 1 hour. I will let you know. Thanks
Brian,
I’ve updated all my days and the raindetail2.gif seems to be showing accurate information. I also recreated the averages/extremes and updated the month total on the “View” > “Rain Chart” page.
I guess my question now is…should I even mess around with my logfile for October? The logfile still shows incorrect data for the rain and the times are messed up as I previously stated. Is it necessary to correct the data there? If not, I may just leave it as is.
Thanks for your help,
Michael
that good you got it updated OK
I would just leave the logfile as it is now…as its not used (unless doing a convert logfile (easy to edit) to data/graph file)
