i just noticed that the 1 wire reader is picking up my lightning strikes in a test, but the graph in WD isnt showing them. Im using a hobby board sensor. Pics attached. Im using the latest build. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Mark,
I have the same situation with my graphs as well. The graph from WD is displaying what it does and the one that is being sent to my host is something different. Same graph but different data. It must be something that is not being captured by WD to be FTP’ed to be the same as what WD is displaying. Hope that makes sense so Brian could take a look and see if he can find the solution to our issue.

are you sure the image file being uploaded to your web page is actually up to date?
(check the file modified time/date in your web files folder)
neither of my graphs are recording anything.
is the lightning counter value in the 1 wire reader increasing?
WD will only show a value for lightning count in the last minute if there has been an increase in the counter
I have tested by increasing the counter value in the wdisplay.ini file
[1 wire reader lightning]
value=12
(after first setting that I have a 1 wire lightning detector under view, dallas 1 wire (and then clicking on save/reset there)
and all works as exected
the values increase under view, lightning count, show up,and the value is plotted on the graph
and I also tested the creationg of the lightning graph in the customise internet and file creation setup
and that worked, the graph data and values show up in the created web image
yes, The value in the 1-wire program is working correctly, but the graph in WD is not recording it.

Thank you for looking into this issue. I updated WD last night to your newest build 38 and my graphs are working as they should for some reason now. Don’t know if you did some tweeks on this issue, if you did, it is working for me now.

Mark, hope that you will be able to resolve your issue with WD talking to the lightning program that was separated out of WD and working independently now. Seems to be working for me now.

the graphs update in testing here
and silversword reports the graphs are updating for him as well
(although I have made no changes)
I updated to the latest build yesterday and no change. The strikes are recording in the 1 wire program, but not transfering to the graphs in WD.
must be a problem with your settings then
as it works here in testing and obviously works for others as well
check the minimum count setting
under view, lightning counts, settings
maybe you have that set to above 0
