Moving from Linux to Windows

I am moving my Weather-Display setup from the Linux box to a small form factor pc with windows next week. After I download and install WD Windows, I plan to run it and then stop it. Copy the data over from the Linux box and rerun it again. Should this be seamless?

I want to run wxsim and cannot be bothered with vm setups

should work OK the datafiles and logfiles copying across

Thanks, I am expecting the PC monday so will update it and then do the move. I am also moving away from Netatmo to a Froggit DP1500 based system
