Dunno if this should be posted in a feature request or if this is allready a part of WD. but i was wondering if there was a way to setup a basic small footprint webpage that could be easily accessed from a cellphone. I’ve seen other websites that have a mobile version and was wondering if one could be setup that would display the temp windspeed humidity baro etc etc just the basics that could be updated every 5 mins. If its possible could someone point me in the right direction

On this subject, since MobileWeb4U has apparently gone belly up, does anyone know of WAP server software that could be ran at home. Something that doesn’t cost $300.

I run WAP pages on my Apache webserver using PHP.
Is there anything special i need i was looking at the page in the control panel but dont really understand what i need to set the settings too…like the “setup/name” and “your homepage url” should that be the name of my main webpage that WD creates and the url to it? forgive me for being stupid but i dont fully understand what i need to set in any of the settings on that page…maybe a tutorial?? is there one somewhere? TIA
So I can check my WD wap page without using Verizon or anyone else’s cell internet service.

have you tried setting it up?
it should still work even if you dont enter those things
make sure though you have a wap folder on your web site
What happened when you followed the instructions in the FAQ?
How about using the wmlbrowser plugin for Firefox?
Niko why is it you always have a sarcastic answer? i asked in my post if there was a tutorial for that and noone said there was a faq if i knew wher eit was i would have looked at that…never fails when i ask a question you always seem to have that sort of reply to my post. Please in the future when im posting asking for help please presume that i dont need your help thanx anyway though.

I had allready tried it with no joy but i failed to see the USA mode wasnt checked i checked that and all is well…thanx again
