In the last couple of versions the midnight reset is not clearing the maximum gust speed. For instance today it is showing a gust of 20 mph at 07 minutes after midnight. Well the wind was no where near that speed after midnight. 20 mph was the gust speed for yesterday.

Here is the error log. Same as the day before.
Normal daily resetting wind/temperature daily value , day: 19

Then why is it under the Error log. It is still not resetting.
dont think of it as an error just because its under the error log
that log is also a general program event log
and so its just telling you that its done the reset
what might be happening is that you have wd set to get data from another source as well…i.e it gets reset then gets set back to what it was
if you email me your settings files i will check on that sort of thing for you

Did you get this problem resolved? I also have the problem. I am running 10.33L. The Max Gust Today shows a higher number than has occurred (verified on my Davis console). The number is usually 26 or 27 mph and the time is either 0:01 or 0:02am. This occurs almost every day. This number also appears for the maxgst tag.
No, this problem was never resolved. I am stuck at version 10.30u because that is the last version I could find before the problem started.
Thanks for the info…that is the same version I was at before upgrading and didn’t have the problem. I will probably go back to that version until this is resolved.
