Max gust speed time not updating, heating degree days not adding up properly

Peet Ultimeter 2100, Belkin serial to USB adapter, complete record mode.
WinXP, 300MB+ RAM, dedicated to WD

Heating degrees for the month don’t add up,

also, the main screen “maximum gust since midnight”, “maximum gust today” time does not update. It seems to stay at some wee hours time like 12:30AM or similar even though a higher gust occurs later on in the day. The proper gust speed is recorded, but not the time.

the gust time problem is problem when using complete record mode
( i need to work with someone on that problem)
