I had a bad crash on my computer last week lost everything had to restart with laptop default programmes.
I have all the latest webfiles on my website provider site, is there anyway of using these to update the WD
programme, I have not yet put the WD programme back on the computer…
If you have the wdisplay.ini and wdisplayftp.reg created from a WD backup with those files it should be possible.
Just follow the directions for moving WD to a new computer…
To move your current Weather Display to a new PC, follow these steps:
Read this entire FAQ, including the notes, before starting the move!
On the old computer, from the Weather Display main screen go “Action”, “Back Up Windows Registry Entries”.
Shut down WD to close all files.
Now copy C:\wdisplay and all sub directories from the old computer to the new one [note 1].
If you are using files and/or images from other locations on the old computer, you will also need to move them to the approp…
However if you do not then you would have to create all your settings again from scratch as far as I know…

also if you have WU data you can download and import that as a csv
always a good idea to back up your important files though
