Hi Sorry for this problem, just got back to uk from kenya, and i am trying to link my UK ver maplin to WD, what settings for usb and sation should i have it on, i think i must be jetlagged as i can not get head round it this morning,

YES i do think it is, i am trying so hard, mind still thinks on plane for 10.5 hours.

Wow I did not realize that Kenya was +3 hours from London.

yes was plus 3hours bout now uk gone forward to BST it only plus 2 hours, gosh was hot 104 degrees and sunny ouch

ok now i have established USB is on com2, i just need to put in what type of station it is??. i have tried all sorts of settings but no results sofar

there is no com port number needed, as its a USB HID
just select the Irox station type
then the separate Iroxdata.exe program should run…and check that for raw data and connection etc

if you could provide a picture of the station then will know its its a Irox clone or a WH1081 clone

good morning brian, well at least it morning my end.

totally jet lagged this morning long flight back to uk,
maplin N96FY model, i have it plugged in to usb
and read your instructions and here we go should be working

maplin N96FY = 1081 clone, not Irox.

select the WH1081 type station (direct connection)
and not the Irox
then restart WD
