so stopping the wdmysql stopped wd crashing?
(as I see your wdl page is still up to date 
now, in a new 10.16e, ready in the next hour, there is a new wdmsql version, vers 1.3, which gets the data via a line of data in the registry, put there by WD every minute
so it doesnt directly use the clientraw.txt file (which might have been the source of conflicts)
so this will hopefully be the solution
