I thought I read somewhere here about permissions on the main WD folders (contents etc) so here are mine:
Pauls-iMac:weatherdisplay.app Paul$ pwd
/Applications/weatherdisplay.app

Once again in WD I can manually re-create and upload the testtags.php file but its not doing it on its own. It has to be something simple
Now my status are green and testtags is current !!!
Well the one that runs at midnight is still red, but that should catch up tonight
IF it was as simple as this then begs the question of how that switch went off. Trust me I never go into settings let alone change anything. This seemed
to have started Dec 26th @ 12:05 I was around but playing with my new surround sound system and not doing anything with WD
It continues to show GREEN status - thanks again Bdtripps.
So while researching this, I noticed that when I first start WD, the time at the bottom is the correct day and month but year is 1999. It eventually goes to 2015.
Has anyone seen this. I can’t seem to upload the video screen shot (its in quicktime .mov format). I can email the full video clip.
However, here are two screen shots taken seconds apart where it goes from 1999 to 2015
I had a flat line situation. Temp was stuck since approx 6-ish this am.
WD was up so I remembered to look in program event log. I saw TONS of Resource Temporarily Unavailable messages. I recall you said
that was a memory issue, so I checked and I was using 12.8 out of 16.
Screenshots below. I have since quite all my safari windows which brought memory down to 7.04 used.
Anyways, just thought I would share. I wasn’t maxed out on memory so curious what happened.
Hi Brian WD MacB262 after running for 8 days the FTP and realtime FTP quit uploading to website(Burr Ridge IL).
WD was still running but just quit uploading to website. There was nothing in the program error log,
I did notice that the ftplogfullreal.txt was 1 MB in size and the ftplogfullreal2.txt was 4.8 MB (Screen Shoot after 8 Days)
after restart the files sizes decrease. (Screen Shoot after Restart)
I also replaced the wdisplayftp.ini from backup to get WD running.
Should these logs be reseting Daily?, could the increasing size of the log files cause the FTP to quit working?
