This 1-wire solution only counts lightning strikes, there is no mapping of avaiable data. What do you expect from a low cost solution? If you want mapping then the Boltek is the product to go for but it is very much more expensive, in the UK it is more than 10 times more expensive than a 1-wire detector!

but, because its graphing, you now see that there could be trends, i.e that the number of strikes is increasing, as the storm gets more intense, or that its getting closer , and more in range
