Library driver clash libjack.dylib

Hi,
I have been running WD for a few years now and it is running well. However recently I installed another application and now I get a conflict when trying to restart WD after either logging out or redrafting my Mac Mini.
I get a conflict with a USB library driver I think libjack.dylib. The application is a program for debugging MSP430 microcontrollers mspdebug. I find I can’t run this application either. However if I reinstall WD, including drivers, reboot then restart WD and reinstall mspdebug without having to reboot both applications run fine until next time I restart the Mac! Fortunately this isn’t that often but using this process is a pain!
Sorry I haven’t got any more info but next time I restart I will get log info.
I don’t understand the low level details of the internals of the Mac, can anyone point me in the right direction to get a resolution to this problem?
Regards
Phil.

I created the library, libjack.dylib
but someone else has same named library
its not used normaly in WD, expcet if using a labjack

so I will remove it from WD for the Mac

once I get the power supply problem sorted on my mac so I can compile a new update

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the update. I didn’t know whether the library file was required or not. I am using the WMR-100, even with this I presume I don’t need this library file.
Will await your update. Other than this minor problem WD is running fine.
Regards
Phil.

Is this error message what you thought was my problem, if you remove reference to this library in the future will this correct the library clash I have?
My mspdebug application has obviously loaded another library of similar name.
If I reload WD, run it and then reload the mspdebug package everything runs fine until next restart.
Regards
Phil.

I have removed it in the latest .zip update

Hello Brian,
Thanks for the news.
Will download it and try it out.
Good to see you have got your Mac back.
Regards
Phil

Hello Brian,
Downloaded Build 77.
Still get the same error having loaded my other application.

To get WD running again I have to reload the library package from the complete build 60.

Not sure where to go from here. Anyway build 77 seems to be working fine for me by itself.
Regards
Phil.

that error report is nothing to do with libjack.dylib
but instead with the libusb
I suggest that you have a libusb that is not standard (i.e had been changed from standard)
as there is no other reports of this problem
