LaCrosse 2310 rain gauge problems. I have been fighting the rain gauge to try to get it to work. I have two weather stations and one is working and the other is not.
First I have been talking to LaCrosse technical support and they have told me that the gauge has a design defect. That is if you tighten the hold down screws too tight it deforms the plastic and the buckets may not function. Loosen the screws to fix this and make sure you hear the buckets click when you pour water in for the test.
