Hi Guys,

Can anyone explain why WD has reported icon number 1 (Clear night) all day?

Is your Longitude and Latitude set properly as well as time zone? In “View - Sun moon rise/set/tides”

Is your local machine time set correctly and the right time zone?

My computer date / time is correct and i’m pretty sure my Lon Lat is correct as I got this from streetmap.co.uk

also, check your time zone

check you do not have set under input daily weather to use a icon you have selected as the main screen icon, or similar

i was recently in your part of the world, eastborne, and there is no issue with your locations lat/long in WD…

Nope, nothing set under ‘input daily weather’. The icon on the main WD display is correct, it’s just the icon number being output to clientraw.txt is always set to number 1 (Clear night).

ah, ol. now i get ya humm there must be a reason for that best thing: email me your settings files: go action, back up registry entry now then email me the file wdisplayftp.reg from the folder databackup and the file wdisplay.ini from c:\windows or c:\winnt

i still am catching up on other users sending me config settings though!

ok, i found in the program where this was occuring, and why it was not being set to dry (daytime)…1 line of code missing
uploading a fix as 10.23w today
others have noticed this too, but i never understood the problem until now

Thanks for that Brian, How do I install the update? Do I have to back up the data first?

Be sure WD isn’t running and just install it over the current install.
