Indoor Air Temperature with Tempest

Where does pws find this data and where would it be displayed on the console?

Where does pws find this data?

The current Weatherflow-Tempest stations do not have an indoor Temp/Hum sensor.
Therefor you should not select the “Yes, . . .”

A solution for missing sensors such as AQ, CO2, lightning is using a Ecowitt as a second station which adds those sensors to the current data of ones WeatherFlow / WU-data a.s.o.
More info Amazon.com → Ecowitt GW1100
It is relative easy for me to add a few other ecowitt sensors such as the always available inside temp-hum.

where would it be displayed on the console?

The indoor-Temp/Hum sensor has its own block.
Multi PM25 sensors can be combined in 1 block
The CO2 sensor has its own block

But I do have an indoor temp sensor on my Tempest station. When my original Air/Sky station sensors malfunctioned the Tempest folks sent me the replacement Tempest station. Since I have an AIR sensor that works for temperature only I set it up as an inside sensor. But I have no way to “tell” pws that I have the sensor.

And no, I am not going to purchase an Ecowitt as I already have a sensor.

Sadly that AIR sensor is not in your WeatherFlow-station #58927 data.

Regards,
Wim

Add it to your tempest. I did the same old AIR, new Tempest. You can see the Tempest page here Tempest
And my weather page here Branford, CT USA Home Weather Station (WDapi version)

On the weather page I opted for just the small indoor temp next to the outdoor temp data as I’m sure nobody other than me cares about that!

[temp] => 64.2
[temp_feel] => 64.2
[temp_high] => 64.2
[temp_high_time] => 14:23
[temp_indoor] => n/a
[temp_indoor2] => 69.2
[temp_indoor_feel] => n/a
[temp_indoor_feel2] => 68.3

I do have the indoor sensor showing on my Tempest page. And I see the temp_indoor2 in my live data, but it does not match the air sensor exactly. How did you get it to show on your website in the temp block?

Your temp_indoor2 and the humidity_indoor2 are for your weatherlink AirQaulity sensor.

@firewall is using the WeatherDisplay WD-api upload which process most data into 1 upload package.
But the lightning data needs an extra upload as those data-items are not in the WD-api definition.

Wim

Thanks for that info Wim. I’ve switched to using clientraw for testing. I can’t remember what I lose versus using the WF-API. Going to let’er run a few days and see how it goes. Still have lots to learn so really appreciate all the help.
