Importing from either Acurite Export or Wunderground?

With Acurite / Wunderground locking us out of pulling our data through a USB connection (for those of us on Acurite Access), is there any thought of developing a cron job or other automated process to parse data on a regular basis from MyAcurite or Wunderground?

Weather display can be set to get its data from your wunderground station ID
using a free api key (there is a data rate limit with the free key that is all
