IMPORTANT - FreshWDL server upgrade

Hi all,

In the past couple of weeks, you might have noticed that FreshWDL has gone down a few times (including right now)… This has been due to the server that hosts the scripts (and was out of my control).
Because of this, I am changing to a new host. I will continue supporting the old one as well, but to improve the reliability of your site, I highly recommend changing to the new server.

It is very simple to change over, all you need to do is edit your HTML file as follows.
Replace all instances of:

gitcdn.xyz/cdn/Yerren/FreshWDL/master

with:

cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/yerren/FreshWDL@master

It should be an @, not a /, for the new one. Let me know if you’re having any problems!

Hello Yerren.
HELP! #-o
I suddenly ran into issues today with the FreshWDL portion of my site stuck at Loading Data…I right clicked on the page, did “inspect” and it was showing me certificate mismatch errors, as in the attached file.
I then saw this post tonight, and went in and changed the FreshWDLmaster.html file as per your instructions, and still no good.
If I look at the site on my local machine, it appears to load OK, but anything on any other machine, it does not load.

Can you please help??

When you changed the .html and uploaded it to your host, did you do a Ctrl F5 when on your page ??? this clears the cache and refreshes the page.

Or you can hold the ctrl button and press the refresh on your browser

replaced all the instances of the old code as per your instructions but it seems to go no further than the welcome page and says collecting data?

Have you tried ctrl+F5 on your site to clear the browser cache?

Thanks, Yerren for alerting us of this change. I fear there will be so many people who don’t subscribe to this forum that will not know what has suddenly happened to their websites. :roll:

There is currently no way for users to change these things.
