preview of upcoming release see screenshot below and its basically running at https://weather34.com , may not appear for a few weeks due to ramadan starting here and I kind of disappear for a month but i have been asked many times so here is a solution that allows you to choose either pre configured modules or build your own if you are experienced in web design/code.
simply it will use easyweathersetup.php and you just select from the drop down choice in any of the the 4 positions which one you want show in a particular position. it doesn’t get any easier than this
literally as example position 1 = indoor.php position 2 = clock.php position 3 = earthquake.php position 4 = alerts.php
there will be a selection of small preconfigured modules to choose from and a blank module where you can design your own using whichever code you wish.
this will expand across the whole of the temple in the future. so each module will be swappable for positions , there will be eventually 13 positions to choose and use.
My return of xperience of this best one template (best marketing website - Poor AppleC/AppleV of an old iphone template)
Not open source (some hidden links in combi.js - Be carefull !)
No support (on site, mail or twitter) - theres a ton of bugs wich I cant quickly report.
Around 1 Mo compressed for only one javascript file wich only used for the barometer gauge.
The good thing it’s that’s can help to give idea for old website and it’s free.
The bad is much more difficulty for many people to integrate it in own website,
The impossiblity to create self made things, because of no support and not opensourced
The first things to do for programmer who want to use it is :
remove instance of combi.js
use your own jquery.min
use your own d3v4.min and only modifiy the category20c of the old d3v3
use another js for barometerGauge of the big devexpress js
I just suggest to keep away from free closed source code dashboard (I’m not talking not wdisplay or wxsim),
until the community can have an eye on the code.
This one just use others old and good scripts from (but kindly & friendly keep link and comment of them)

And Im asking once more, are you talking about the Idesign template? Because this template is fully open-source, not closed-source as you mention. You are posting in a thread about Idesign template and this template IS open-source.

It is unbelievable how much disrespect some people can show. First you ask Brian for help, then you bitch about his template and even say you have no respect for him. Your posts also show that you have no idea how his template works, and dont even know what open-source means.
You know what? Make your own template! Spend hundreds or thousands of hours with it, then offer it for free and support people in your free time and then come back making such comments.

i can only say Jachym if this is the nature of what Im going to get once again I will drop support for weather-display clientraw immediately , i don’t do this for any financial gain or any other gain it is purely something that has evolved and many people like to use it and thats the just way it is,its that simple, but I will say now I don’t do this for any benefit of my own as always clearly highlighted and mentioned before .ps everyone Im retired !!! and days of chasing a better income and rewards and acknowledgements are long over the only thing I have to look forward is grey socks and grey jumpers and struggling to get around. I have absolutely no qualms about in dropping it , if someone wants to throw scenarios that don’t exists well I can only say “*uck it im too old for this shite” ill take up gardening to keep me occupied .

Just one thing I want to add to this - dont worry about it, Ive had this happening two or three times in the past too, you just regret a little bit you helped these people and spent time with them, but then you just have to look at it like vast majority of people really appreciate what you do.

minified jquery is done for a reason AND IS NOT what your thinking , and if you have any sense between your ears or legs you would understand fully why it is minified but just FYI

the fact that it is a static file that doesn’t need any further modification to work with the template there is no harm in minifying it , it is a file that simply does not require regular changes upon each update.
so all I can say to you is dont assume something and shout loud , anyone foolish enough to do something you are suggesting amongst a weather community probably needs a pole rammed up there backside.

1.7 optional modules to use various data from weather-display,cumulus,meteobridge,ws1001,weatherflow
2.now possible via simple easyweathersetup to shuffle around the positions to show various data of your choice
at present there are 7 modules and as time goes by there will be additional ones .
3.the new modules at present are only in english sometime in the near future i will update these use multiple languages
4.new icons , new css files , new index.php , new easyweathersetup.php, new settings1.php and so on
so please do full update and not use existing previous version or mix with previous versions.
5.permonce remains the same and the new module idea has no impact on performance see screenshot below.

Is there any chance you could add sunshine hours to clientraw.txt so that it can be included in the latest version of the design template? Brian U has added a cell at the top to record sunshine hours, but at the moment it only works with cumulus as its not a value recorded in clientraw?
