Humidity sensor

I have a WS-2010.

When a remote sensor battery was weak in my wireless system my readings started to go way off. The readings continued to get worse until I charged/replaced the battery. Does your system have a backup battery in that sensor? If so, I would replace the backup battery.

note that those humidity sensors do not go below 15% RH

Thanks for the replies. I hadn’t thought about the battery. I am still getting the temp but maybe the humidity needs a higher voltage to work. I think the lowest reading I was getting was 20% so I guess mine can’t read below that. I do have the sensor located on the north side under an eve. Maybe the short days aren’t allowing the battery to charge enough. Strange to have a solar powered temp/humidity sensor that can’t be placed in the sun to charge.
