I have set up a HTTP download of a graphic, that I want to use on my website, however, although the download kicks off, it doesn’t appear that the download is being allowed to ‘run’ long enuff, and hence the created file is only 1k and has no graphic …wot am i doing wrong ???

the other way is to just use html to show the image direct on your web site from its source

I have now used the image location to solve my problem as you suggested…but I would still like to know using the HTTP download doesn’t seem to work…(for me anyway !!!)

what is the url of the image you are trying to download?
we are all OK here 
a rainy day today, currently raining at 0.5mm/minute steadily
and warm too, at 18oC overnight and today, considering we are only 2 weeks from winter

Sorry, I thought I had put the url in the post.
I was attempting to download
http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/D2u.jpg, and then use it on my site under my own name, ie satellite.jpg
To hear that you are all well.
this is an html file and WD will not download them using http (jpg or gif only)
But it IS the jpg file that the url is pointing to, hence the .jpg extension of the url…
