Am I correct that the current conditions should show on the main screen (eg. if it rains, the rain icon from the station or WD should show up there)?
Where can I see that option you mentioned “show the icon for the web or similar”?

I spent now days and I discovered following: it is not possible to show the current condition on the main screen and the forecast icon of the Davis VP2 as the forecasticonstation.gif. This is a bug and I reported it. Is there any chance you could fix that?
What is your intention to show on the main screen anyway? Is it WD’s forecast, or is it WD’s current condition or is it the station’s forecast or the station’s current condition?
The icon of the main screen should show the current condition, being it from the station or from WD. The forecasticonstation.gif should be the icon the station shows. But as I said that is not the case. If you tick in: control panel>summary image and icon setup>forecast icon setup area to>set to use the forecast icon from the station, it either does not shownothing anymore or it shows the station’s forecast icon on the main screen (depending if you also tick “Show the icon on the main screen”). But that’s not good. The main screen should show the current condition and not any forecast.
You have set yourself a bug anyway…if you tick in control panel>summary image and icon setup>forecast icon setup area to>set to use the forecast icon from the station, it automatically sets this is in: Units and Other Settings>Main Screen Icon Setup, as well as on the page I made a screen shot of. This interferes each other.
I’m happy to work with you to fix that bug and to get it to work.

to show current condition icon on main screen you need to have ticked, show the icon on the main screen (that is not refering to forecast icon only)
I think you are getting confused there
If you do not have set to use the forecast icon from the station
the forecasticonstation.gif should still be updated from the station forecast

I have “Show the icon on the main screen” ticked (please check the screenshot I uploaded in my last posting, and nothing else).
The main screen shows the current conditions from WD, the uploaded forecasticonstation.gif shows WD’s forecast and the uploaded forecasticon.gif shows the same icon as on the main screen. I have set the upload of all those files to 5 minutes. Today the Barometer dropped, the stations forecast icon showed rain, I was waiting until the upload was done and the forecasticonstation.gif still showed partly cloudy.
Do you want me to send you my ini files and you can check it for yourself?
I really would like to have that fixed.
