How do you add a Wunderground "WeatherSticker" to WD page?

Gidday Guys…

Firstly a big thanks to Brian for all his support for WD in 2005. Absolutely outstanding service and support for a product that in my opinion is unrivalled.

Also, my thoughts are with all the people around the world affected by the recent tsunami events.

A realtively simple question from a WD Novice !! How and/or where do I add the HTML code supplied by Wunderground (for there “weathersticker”) in WD so it will upload it to my webpage?

I am sure its simple, but I can’t seem to figure out where it would go…any ideas? :o

Cheers lads, and all the best for 2K5…

Hi Macka
You can add it to datahtm0,

In the control panel, under web files/page setup, tick either let me manage the datahtm2.txt file or let me manage the datahtm0.txt file.
Then you can add the wunderground code in either file and WD will upload it. Of course, if you’re adventurous, you could use the custom web page option and write your own html, adding custom tags, etc.

Gentlemen, thankyou for your prompt and concise responses! Much appreciated!

Best regards,
Macka

Hello There,

I have ticked the let me manage the datahtm2.txt file which I have done, but where do I add the wunderground code? Where is the file to add this code?

Thanks gaz

the three datahtmx.txt files are normally found in the wd\webfiles folder on your computer.

Thank you. Where do I find the wunderground code to use to show my chosen Wunderground location so it appears on my web page?

It’s here on the Wunderground website.
