How Do I Set Up Soil Temp and Soil Moisture Sensors In WD?

It may be a stupid question, but I don’t understand how to go about setting up soil temp and soil moisture indicator readings in the WD menu. Where can I find instructions to do that?

Is this what you are looking for?

  1. Select Control Panel.
  2. Select Station Type and Settings.
  3. In WD Davis VP2 station check the box:
    a. I have a Soil temperature
    b. I have Soil Moisture.

To View the data:

  1. Select View
  2. Select Davis VP/Vue Extra Sensor Info

Brian had mentioned to me:
You can add a data ticker to the WD main screen and add custom tags to that…to display the soil moisture (and even the new soil moisture % custom tag) and soil temperature custom tag data
there is a youtube video on how to add a custom scroller to the WD main screen.
