I have a ws2300 lacrose weather station. And would like to fit a one wired solar sensor to my weather computer. My question is simple, and not too silly I hope, Do hobby boards deliver to the UK, and is there a chance of tax being charged?
I’ve had a lightning detector and an AAG anemometer and neither were charged import duty or VAT at Customs. They arrived within 5-7 working days - which, for up here, is quick even for UK postage.
Thanks for the quick and helpful response. My wife bought me my weather station as a Christmas 2007 present, she also ordered the upgrade wind cups (TX20), this was a recommended upgrade by the shop, I am still waiting for them to arrive, when they do and i have them setup, I will start thinking about setting up a solar sensor.
I hope the forum members are patient as i feel this may be a painful process, as I have never dealt with one wire networks before, I am quite experienced with home networks, but this will be new ground.

I’ve only ever used 1-wire devices for my weather gear, and yes it does take a bit of tinkering on occasion. But there is plenty of help here if you get stuck.
