its amazing that there was a Tornado in the Davis area of CA
at this time of year too…
that area hardly gets any exciting weather…rain in winter (July) no rain in summer at all (hot and sunny)

Yes, it is amazing and according the tornado statistics from the Storm Prediction Center, this makes the third one around Sacramento this year which is also amazing. And it is true, getting rain this time of year is not normal. So far, I got .35 inches this month, .14 inches just this morning.

interestingly there is talk that the sudden stratospheric warming affecting the south pole might be impacting the equator and even northern hemisphere weather now
