Hi all,
I had been using ambient-weather.net to pull data into WD (Mac Build 334, Mojave), but Brian suggested I might want to try the GW1000 as a way to eliminate the need to pull data from Ambient-weather.net. I love the idea. I hooked it up last night, configured the GW1000 using the iOS App, and all the live data is correct on the app. When I posted WD to the IP of the GW1000, most of the data seemed correct, but the wind gust was way off (wind speed was ok). Solar switched to Estimated, and my Purple Air AQUI which I pull in by local Wifi was replaced by a constant value (432.1, suspicious isn’t it).
What are you experiences with getting all the data to match what WD expects? Thanks! -Matt
you are probably the first person to use this on a mac
I will see why the wind gust is not correct
one problem re AQI is that the gw1000 does provide that and so thata will be overriding the purple air reading
I will look into that
not sure why you have posted this here when I am working with you via email?
Thank you Brian! I thought maybe someone on the OS X platform would maybe have seen it. Nice to know I’m the first!
In addition to wind Gust being off for some reasons, the Solar is estimated instead of the correct W/m**2. The values for all these parameters obtained from WS View are correct, however.
