I only changed the permissions of the GoWeather.sh and Weatherd file. Is that right?
try changing the permissions on all the files in that folder, especily wdisplay.ini (if it exists)
and set the permission for that whole folder too (by going back a down a directory), to your use name as owner and tick read and write, etc
