Yes,
but to change it I have to change to root user, right?
The properties are grey overlayed and until now I don’t know how to change it as a non root user…
I’ll try it with root…
Oh, you are writing faster as I can…
I downloaded the files at your homepage.
Where can I get it on CD?
PS: My mood is better…
I changed the permissions, but the problem is the same:
[code:1]Exception EInOutError in module WeatherD at 085421A7.
I/O error 103.
[/code:1]
hi
, no, not normal to get it on cd, normal to download it from the web site
now, re the I/O error:
what files are now in that directory…wdisplay…and maybe check the permissions on each file?
yes, you will need to re login in as root
5:30am here, my mood is early!
I only changed the permissions of the GoWeather.sh and Weatherd file. Is that right?
try changing the permissions on all the files in that folder, especily wdisplay.ini (if it exists)
and set the permission for that whole folder too (by going back a down a directory), to your use name as owner and tick read and write, etc
Thank you very much!
It starts and works fine.
