Google has opened up invites for Google+ (google plus for search alternatives) and if anyone wants one PM me their email address (I suspect Gmail addresses may get some priority maybe :dontknow: ) and as long as the Invite button stays Green I will send you one.
Note that even if I submit your address for an invite there is no guarantee Google will send one and if you do get an invite there is no guarantee you will be able to use it immediately…

Social Network site? Maybe but maybe aiming a bit higher or sideways?
Supposedly also working on a Google+ version for Business (as in LARGE businesses).
Many say this is just Googles ‘latest’ attempt at Social Networking while others say this is Google taking Social networking to a new level and could be a real rival to Facebook and possibly twitter.
My personal take is that Google+ could give Facebook a run for it’s money, only time will tell…
It’s Free, it’s backed by an unquestioned leader in New technology, and if it takes off never hurts to be in on the ground floor and if it doesn’t well I have BTDT many times before LOL

My understanding is they do limit allowing invites to signup at times and if you get the invite and Google doesn’t let you in hang on to it and keep checking back is what i have been told.

By the way what I have done is create a New Circle named Weather and everyone from WD and Weather-Watch as well as a few other weather related contacts I have been adding to that circle…

It all seems somewhat primitive to me. Unless I’m missing something it seems to offer a slightly different way of categorising your email contacts into groups and making comments that your friends can see. It seems to be about a million miles short of Facebook at the moment.
2 things I really like about G+…one is the circles, you can post stuff and direct it to a specific group and they are the only one’s who will see it…and second, I can edit my posts if I make a mistake. Seems like better security overall compared to FB.
I’ll wait for the jury decision on security. It worries me that we’re giving yet more of our personal info to Google and without quite knowing how they will use this additional info.
