My gauges have an odd problem. Temps won’t stay set on F and soon drop back to C. What’s the fix for this? Thanks.
Works for me. It uses a cookie to store the preference, have you blocked them for that site?
That’s happening here, too, when I look at your site: I set the radio button for F and the temp shows in F until the countdown reaches 0 when the temp goes to C but the radio button stays at F.
Happens in Edge and Chrome. . . but there is something else going on because I occasionally see 95° or -17° as well when I change from F to C or vice versa!
And what is the extra  character before °F and °C on the dial?
Ah, right I see what you mean. I thought you meant the unit selection did not stick if you refreshed the page.
It looks like the script has been edited using an editor that doesn’t understand UTF-8 and it has messed up the extended characters. The knock on effect is what you are seeing.
Go back to the original gauges.js file from the zip, and edit it using something like Notepad++
and…
The script is also being used in a page that is not encoded as UTF-8, so you will probably get the display corruptions, but it should function OK.
Problem was apparently solved by using wxssguages.php file from ALT 6.95c and following directions in it to put steel gauges in ssg file. This allowed UTF-8.
