I have been reading the previous posts regarding the FWI and tying to set it up correctly but to no avail.
Not sure where to look next. Can anyone help with the folowing questions?

  1. Do I need start up values?
  2. I have ticked the ‘upload to web page’ under View> Fire weather index but it will not upload automatically OR does this get added to the clientraw.txt file so WDL can get the data?
  3. Is there anything else I need to do

I believe it gets added to clientraw.txt and then you can display the value using WDL.

I have it displayed on my site (we are not dry yet, but its coming)

Geoff,

It does get added to the clientraw file but it also can be uploaded as a webpage called fwi.htm.

If you are using Internet File Creation and upload you do have to specify create and upload times there as well.

IIRC NorCalDan has posted some suggested start up values if you search the forums…
