Generally when I speak of a Full Install I am referring to the full download versus the .zip download…

Basically the .zip will contain program updates, bug fixes and many new features while the Full download is needed when there have been updates to ftpupd and the clientraw ftp program…
As far as a New Install from scratch, some folks have done that for a number of reasons, wanting to simply start over records wise for one reason or another, new machine and they didn’t have a backup or having really bad problems and they think this would their best bet. However Brian usually recommends trying a second new WD install as noted in this FAQ, http://discourse.weather-watch.com/t/10889, before throwing in the towel on a current installation…
